 Excited to see UT Southwestern Medical Center selected to operate the new Texas Behavioral Health Center, the first state acute care behavioral health hospital in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

SPMT Group was honored to support and work with UT Southwestern on the implementation of this 500,000 + square-foot, state-of-the-art facility—a critical milestone in addressing the shortage of inpatient psychiatric beds across North Texas and the state.

This project reflects how intentional design, thoughtful construction execution, and strong collaboration can directly support healing environments, expand access to care, and elevate outcomes for both adult and pediatric patients. As the facility prepares to welcome its first patients this summer, it stands as a powerful example of how healthcare capital programs can meaningfully impact communities at scale.

Congratulations to UT Southwestern, HHSC, and all partners involved in bringing this important facility to life.

• We had a blast (literally ) at the Clays for Camps shoot yesterday supporting Passion for Children's & Children's Health! We were treated with some great weather, great people, and great food and treats!  Always enjoy getting time with our partners and friends across the design and construction community. We are proud to have provided project management services on the delivery of this new Interventional Radiology suite at Children’s Health.
