With 20+ years of experience on capital construction projects. Ranging from complex renovations through ground up construction, he brings a passion for Project Management and is directly involved in leading project teams, working with clients at an executive level, and managing project details. He acts as an extension of the owner, looking out for their interest by overseeing, directing, and keeping all team members engaged throughout all phases of the project from early planning and design, through construction, activation, and post occupancy.  Brock believes, “Collaboration and Transparency is at the core of delivering a successful project and a high-quality experience for the client.”

Dean brings 20+ years of experience in managing complex construction projects, partnered with his analytical and organizational skills, as well as his ability to execute on ideas, enable him to deliver exceptional value to the client.  With his experience as a project manager for the development, planning, and implementation of multifaceted projects, he’s focused on identifying the needs of each client.  

From the executive suite to the patient floors—to recommend the right best practices for the health systems he serves. He has a passion for logistics, which drives his work in facility activation, move management, and transition planning.

Mike brings 40 years experience and has led national & international organizations with national scale of over $30billion for national and international healthcare capital program teams with Fortune Top 500 organizations with a focus on process improvements, cultural alignment of Mission/Effort/Result, enhanced fiscal management of resources and overall stewardship of the environment of care. 

He holds degrees in Organization Development, Business Management, Physics, Radiologic Technology & Medicine and has served as a past Regional Vice President of IFMA, past President of two IFMA Chapters, immediate Past President of CAHED, Past President of the Health Care Institute (HCI) and immediate Past President of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP). In addition, he is a faculty Fellow of the Center for Health Systems & Design, College of Architecture, Texas A & M.

Vice President - 

Planning  

Michael Smith brings over 27 years of experience delivering architectural and planning services to the healthcare industry, including work with many of the nation’s leading Fortune 500 health systems. As Vice President of Planning, he combines deep operational insight with design and construction expertise to guide complex healthcare projects from concept through completion.

Michael most recently held a senior leadership role at a dedicated healthcare design firm, where he served as a trusted advisor to major clients and provided direction across multiple project teams for initiatives valued up to $550 million. His leadership is marked by strategic collaboration, technical rigor, and a commitment to delivering environments that improve outcomes for both clients and patients.

He also brings owner-side experience, having overseen a $120 million healthcare addition and renovation project—adding a valuable perspective on the priorities and challenges faced by health systems during planning and construction.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Architecture. He is known for his respectful leadership style and dedication to achieving world-class outcomes. He resides in Arlington, Texas, with his wife Mary, and is a proud father to Grayden and Abegale, and grandfather to Emmarie.

Vice President - 

Administration

Jennifer provides oversight and implementation of administrative functions at SPMT Group. With her Bachelor of Science in Biology & Chemistry from Northeastern State University, balanced with 15+ years of Fortune 500 Level experience she has found the right formula for working with internal team members handling Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Marketing, Digital Media, Human Resources, and Information Technology as well external interaction with vendors and customers. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys travel, interior design, cooking, baking, or you may likely find her out catching some fresh air while taking care of her garden.

Director of Project Management

 Seth has provided project management services to multiple healthcare systems in Texas and Overseas in excess of $1 Billion dollars of project costs.  His focus has been on healthcare covering a wide array of projects of all sizes ranging from complex interior renovations to large ground up construction. 

Seth’s most recent accomplishments include the completion of the UTSW Brain and Cancer Center and prior to that he spent 3 years in Sydney building a replacement hospital for the Australian government. 

He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska where he was an NCAA Letterwinner in Football and has degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. He believes in treating everyone with respect and providing world-class outcomes for clients and patients.

Senior Project Manager 

Bonnie is a Certified Healthcare Constructor with 35+ years of HealthCare experience, with the last 30 of those years focused on Project Management. Her experience with a wide range of projects, including Facility Master Plan Development, Facility Infrastructure Projects, Ground Up Development, Imaging Equipment Replacement and Relocation, Total Redesign and Renovation of Inpatient Service Units, Service and Office Relocations equips her with the knowledge base, client focus, system awareness, and communication skills that are critical to successful Project Management. In addition, her experience as a caregiver provides her a unique perspective and understanding of the patient and staff experience with healthcare construction. Bonnie has managed over 250 projects on numerous campuses over multiple states.

Senior Project Manager  

Allison Francis is a dynamic real estate and construction management professional with a proven track record of overseeing construction projects across a diverse array of specialized healthcare product types including Cardiac, Imaging, Rehab, LTAC and Behavioral Health.

With extensive experience in the industry, Allison has demonstrated expertise in creating and managing customized design and construction solutions for healthcare clients, from goal setting and scheduling to site selection, budgeting, construction, and activation.

Allison holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from James Madison University as well as an Architecture Degree from Louisiana Tech University.

 Outside of work she enjoys volunteering, painting, and spending time with her family. 

Senior Project Manager

Doug is a seasoned Construction Project Manager with over a decade of experience, specializing in healthcare design and construction. Known for his dependable and detail-oriented approach, Doug consistently delivers complex healthcare and commercial projects on time and under budget. He is a strong advocate for lean practices, ensuring clients receive maximum value throughout every phase of development.

Doug has successfully managed projects for leading healthcare institutions including HCA Medical City Plano, Methodist Midlothian, and Children’s Health. His engaging leadership style and commitment to quality make him a trusted partner in high-stakes environments where precision and performance are paramount.

Doug holds a Master of Building Construction Management and a BBA in Marketing from Auburn University. He also studied Architectural History and Criticism at the Scuola Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy, adding a global perspective to his technical expertise.

Senior Project Manager  

Travis brings a wealth of expertise from his tenure at an esteemed General Contractors where he spearheaded numerous successful projects.

His proficiency in managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, & maintaining seamless communication with stakeholders ensured project success.

Travis has a proven track record of overseeing diverse projects, from renovation to ground-up constructions, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in his approach.

His experience on the GC side, Travis honed his skills in subcontractor management, project scheduling, & facilitating effective communication among project teams.

Travis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. 

Outside of the office Travis’ passion is cooking, playing golf with his wife Terri, watching live music, and taking care of their two dogs Bates and Ellie.

Senior Project Manager  

Originally from the beautiful island of Grenada, Reon brings  a wealth of construction management experience  and a fresh perspective to SPMT Group  from his 10+ years of working for Top 100 General Contractors.

Reon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University and has dedicated the last 12 years to mastering healthcare construction.

He believes that the key to delivering successful projects lies in building trust and team work. His dedication and commitment to exceeding client expectations align perfectly with the values of SPMT Group. 

Reon resides in Plano, TX with his wife and two children.

Andrea’s expertise in bridging the business, operational, and clinical aspects of project management is invaluable. She has a thorough understanding of operational flow and shows exceptional skill in dissecting issues, implementing solutions, and building strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical teams.

design and construction efforts with operational needs has ensured a seamless integration of workflows, benefiting both the project and its end users.

Andrea excels in analyzing data, developing workflows, and improving processes, which helps streamline operations and support the project’s overall goals. In addition, her ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative environment, she immediately becomes a trusted partner throughout the project.

Executive Consultant 

Nick brings over 45+ years of experience of overseeing construction projects of all  varying sizes, both domestic and international.  With his background of working on the design side, Nick is able to bring both the client and designers’ perspective to all projects he is managing. He understands the client's needs and is able to communicate those project goals clearly with other team members and deliver which consistently result in projects on time and under budget. Nick oversees projects from early the programming and design phase all the way through construction and occupancy as he balances budgets, schedules, and contract negotiations. With his design background, Nick is able to maintain the strategic vision of the client without sacrificing the important details of the environment.  Outside of work, Nick enjoys traveling with his family and spending time outdoors. 

Executive Consultant

With over 45 years of experience, Mark is highly accomplished Project Executive with an extensive track record of delivering the key leadership required to complete over $2.2B in major construction projects of all sizes and complexities for private and public clients. Mark Excels at Building and optimizing the performance of project terams that provide the highest level of quality services while ensuring projects are delivered and of schedule and under budget. Mark is adept at partnering with internal and external stakeholders to create synergy, problem solve critical issues, achieve shared objectives, and drive project success. Continually recognized for possessing the vision to see both the “big picture” and smaller critical details to ensure that all deliverables are achieved and exceed the client’s expectations. He loves working with diverse teams, building complex projects, and building long-lasting relationships. His diverse experience includes healthcare, mission critical, high-rise office, sports & entertainment, convention centers, malls, hospitality, courthouses, aviation, industrial warehouses, manufacturing, and historical renovations. 

Project Manager

Cullen is an accomplished and results driven professional with 7+ years and $500M+ of experience in the industry.  His analytical and competitive nature has driven him to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget.  His multi-faceted background in both the preconstruction phase as an Estimator and in the execution phase as a Project Manager with a Top 100 ENR General Contractor delivering Healthcare, Multi-Family, Commercial, and Mixed-Use projects allow him to understand the importance of all phases of a project.  While earning his Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Arkansas, Cullen was a Student-Athlete playing Division 1 Baseball and participated in the NCAA Men’s College World Series.  He certainly understands hard work and collaborating with other team members is the best way to success.

Project Manager  

Bailey brings 10+ years of construction management experience, spanning new construction and commercial tenant fit outs across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, data centers, aerospace, aviation, and office. She excels at leading projects from estimating, planning, construction and occupancy while collaborating closely with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective coordination, scheduling, and execution of project details. Her passion for construction extends beyond the physical build—she values the relationships formed throughout the process. Her dedication to collaboration and communication has translated into strong stakeholder engagement, effective budget management, high-quality delivery, and smooth project closeouts.

Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, cooking, playing tennis, and hanging out with her Great Dane, Dutch. 

Project Manager  

Ian brings extensive experience managing healthcare and infrastructure projects across Texas. With a background in both field operations and project coordination, he leads multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful results for clients.

Before joining SPMT Group, Ian contributed to major healthcare initiatives, including the $32 million Cook Children’s Neighborhood Clinic, where he implemented cost tracking systems and coordinated closely with stakeholders. He also supported the Plano Bed Tower Expansion at Children’s Health, managing key components such as a $16 million precast parking structure and a $5 million Microgrid system—both executed amid active hospital operations.

Earlier in his career, Ian played roles on large federal and civic projects like the $1.4 billion Fort Bliss Replacement Hospital and the Alamo Plan – Phase 1, gaining valuable experience in documentation, field oversight, & stakeholder communication.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, where he served as a Yell Leader and was the Caretaker of Reveille, the university’s treasured mascot—experiences that shaped his leadership and dedication to service.

He lives in Justin, TX, with his wife, Alexis, and their two children
